BHARMOUR , 176315 Bharmour was one of the ancient town lies in the Chamba district of Himachal Pardesh , India. It is situated at the altitude of 7000 ft in the Budhil Valley. Its old name was Brahmpura. It is also called 'Shiva Bhoomi' which means 'The land of Lord Shiva'. It lies between the Pir Panjal and the Dhauladhar range between Ravi and Chenab valley. This land is blessed with deep beauty of nature and also provides home for nomadic shepherds called Gaddi . For this reason, Bharmour is also called a Gadderan (Living place of shepherds). Chaurasi Temples is located in the center of Bharmour town and it holds a religion importance because people believe that these temples was build by Lord Shiva in one night in the 7th century.
